“Over the past 25 years I have coached many riders to championships on a local, regional and national level as well as winning over 30 Grand Prix competitions myself.
Emma Cline has been champion in the childrens/adult jumpers in Traverse City Michigan as well as many placings in the Midwest and Florida.
Emma’s approach to riding reflects the same qualities that will make her successful at the university level — focus, perseverance, and a willingness to work hard to reach her goals. She is thoughtful in her preparation, receptive to feedback, and able to balance ambition with humility. These traits serve her well both in the ring and in everyday life.
Beyond her riding ability, Emma is a genuine pleasure to have around. She treats everyone with kindness and respect, works well with her peers, and contributes to a positive and productive environment. I have no doubt that she will bring this same energy, maturity, and dedication to her university community.”

“Hello, I’m Alexis Muuss and I’m the Farm Manager at Rinehart farm. With this job I get to help and teach a lot of students. Emma has been one of my students for the past few years. In this time I’ve been able to watch her blossom in to an amazing student and rider. She’s has been able to accomplish riding in all 3 rings, and makes it look effortless.
Emma loves to learn and she’s great at listening. Emma is not only an amazing student but she’s always able to help around the barn, helping ride other horses or helping lesson kids before or after their lessons. She’s also helped with horse camp during the summer, being a mentor to the kids. She’s always wanting to learn new things to help her horses from just noticing shoes are loose to seeing her horse is maybe sick. She takes amazing care of her horses.
Having Emma around the barn has been such a privilege. I can’t wait to continue to watch her grow in her riding career. She’s going to go far!”
